MY brood bitch unfortuanately passed away last year but luckily we kept one of her daughters for ourselves only now we are rather concerned about her first of all she had what seemed like a phantom pregnancy at 6 months this lasted for approx 3 weeks she then became very over sexed towards our male dog kept on mounting him and mating with his face at every oppotunity at 15 months she is having another phantom pregnancy this time quite severe huge teats full of milk ripping up everything trying to make a nest and over affectionate this went on for 7 weeks our bitch that we lost never had anything like this so we are totally lost as to what to do (she has never been mated)but we are hoping to get a litter out of her if it is at all possible should i try to get her mated at her next season ?if so is she likely to take or will i be faced with this phantom pregnancy again?
