can anyone tell me if it makes a difference to cut my puppies ears, or if it's ok if i decide not to do it, she's 3 months old, and i like her just the way she is, but i worry that maybe hteres a reason i have to do it.
can ayone help?

What exactly do you mean? cut the fur on the ears?? or cut the ears as in cropping them? :EEK:

Just want to clarify before answering :)

if you mean cropping,i dont personally agree with it.
if you mean clipping the fur it is probably beneficial in that it would be comfortable for the dog.clipping inside the ear will reduce build up and irritation,amd also it would give a cleaner appearance.there is no real reason to do either though,it depends how you would like your dog to look.

Do you mean cropping the ear itself or cutting the hair? If you are in the UK, ear-cropping has been illegal for about 100 years, so not many people here are going to advise that!

If you mean trimming the hair, then please yourself!

If you are in America and you are talking about the cropping of your dogs ears, remember you don't have to do anything to your dog that you don't want to, cropping isn't compulsory. Just keep the inside of the ears free of the thick hair that grows there, you can pluck it out - sounds painful but they don't mind once they get used to keeping still for it .... and getting the tidbits as reward :D
