My dogs glucose seems to go down a lot. About a week ago he went into what I think was shock. He could'nt move and his eyes seem to row back. I gave him anything with sugar I could find. I rushed him to the vet, they kept him over night and got better. But this morning he started to slow down again, I gave him Kero syrup and started to get better again. Why is this happening? Am I feeding him incorrectly? I feed him twice a day recommended dog food and chicken. Some times I give him human food because I just need him to eat. I forgot to tell you he's a 6-7 lb. Yorkie. I waqs told when I bought him that this could happen in the first year but "Skeeter" is 15 months old, so it shouldn't be happening any more. If anyone could help, I would be so grateful.

Olga, I think this is a question for your vet :-)

Admin is right I would take him straightaway. If he has diabetes (dogs and cats do get this) he could go into a coma and die. I wouldnt take the risk - I would take him pronto.
