I have been reading anything and everything there is about mating my keeshonds and everything that I've read says that the male should be interested in the bitch from day one.
Now, my bitch has been bleeding 5 days and it is getting lighter, but my male doesn't seem interested at all. He sniffs her once in a while, but then walks away from her. Today she was all over him and he didn't want anything to do with her. I held her for him and he just sniffed and walked away.
My question is..... will he be more interested when she is ready to be mated or should I try to find another male? This is just so frustrating. Please, someone, tell me my male WILL get more interested in her when it's time. Thanks!!!!

Oh dear I hope you have read the other post you posted as people believe your bitch to be too young to breed but you are still intent on breeding I see. Please read your last post again if you havent done so.
Have you not read everything that people have been saying to you, your bitch is far to young to be mated, and if you don't know that perhaps you should do some more reading on the subject and join the Keeshond Breed Club and read their code of ethics on breeding!!!
Just out of interest have you shown either the dog or the bitch and if not how do you know they are good examples of their breed?
Have you spoken to the breeder of your bitch and asked their advice, if not why not, she is the one to best advise you on whether the dog you have has suitable bloodlines to be mated to her.
Or even the breeder of your dog who I am sure would be able to give you advice as well.
