I'm having to bump Savvy up from Novice (she just won her 3rd first - and got RBOB at Southampton today) and I'm looking at the definition of Graduate in my current schedules. I've seen THREE different definitions (though one may be a typo - the other two are repeated). Can someone help me out - or are there actually 2 definitions of Graduate class.
1) For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or four or more First prizes at Championship Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit or Open Classes whether restricted or not.
NB - there is no mention of Graduate classes in this definition, but since there is in the other two I'm wondering if it was just missed
2) For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or five or more Prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit or Open Classes whether restricted or not.
NB - this one says FIVE prizes, but doesn't say FIRST prizes
3) For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or four or more First prizes at Championship Shows in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit or Open Classes whether restricted or not.
NB Mentions Graduate and 4 FIRST prizes.
Any help knowing the right one would be great or can shows pick and choose??
Wendy
The correct definition for Graduate classes is:
Championship and Open: Not having won a challenge Certificate or 4 or more First Prizes at a Championship Show in Graduate, Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit or Open whether restricted or not.
Limited Shows: not having won 4 or more First prizes at Open or Champ Shows in the same classes.

I am fairly certain that it is the 3rd definition you have given, about not having won 4 or more first prizes at champ shows in grad, P/Grad, etc. Thats how I have always taken the definition to be!
