I took two dogs on holiday to Ireland a few years ago. I took them on the ferry and they had to stay in the car during the voyage. There were no restrictions at all on the dogs entering the country. I don't think it would have been any different if they had been going to stay for good.

You willjust need to check with the ferry people. the dog will need to stay in the car. there is no documentation as far as I know needede, as people in our breed have exchanged dogs and puppies.

If she wishes to show then she will need to get the pup registered with the iRISH Kennel club, who will give details of what documents will be required.
