I purchased a female white Pek as a gift for my aunt. She, Evee, was about 3 months old when I bought her. I kept her for 2 months; in order to potty pad train her and get her past the chewing stage. She learned quickly, and by the time I gave Evee to my aunt she had not had an accident in my house for several weeks. However, now my aunt is telling me that Evee is peeing and pooing on the carpet.
My aunt tells me that Evee does once an awhile go on the pads but not a regular basis. I am wondering if this has to do with the fact that my aunt had a dog previously that peed and pooed everywhere.
My aunt does not really think that this is the problem because she said that she had the carpet cleaned and the "Guy" said that he used a deodorizer that gets rid of "ALL" urine smell. SO, what's up?
I also have a 4 year old pomerainian and a 1 1/2 year old Yorkie. Both were have been potty pad trained since they were only a few months old. Neither has had an accident in the house since they were 4 or 5 months old.
