MY 10 MONTH OLD GOLDEN RETRIEVER HAS RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH THE EARLY STAGES OF CHD. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD HE WOULD NEED AN OPERATION IN 4/5 YEARS TIME AND HAS BEEN PUT ON ZUBRIN TABLETS FOR PAIN RELIEF .DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SUPPLEMENTS OR NATURAL PRODUCTS THAT COULD BE USED INSTEAD OF DRUGS.WEVE HEARD OF ARTHRIX HAS ANYONE USED THIS AND IF SO DID IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE?

Glucosamine and Chondroitin, Vitamin C and Shark cartilage are good ones to try
also try to find a canine hydrotherapy centre your dog can exercise and strengthan the muscles in his legs etc without putting strain on the hips

Synflex is a liquid version of Glucosamine with added Chondroitin, shark cartilage etc.
