Kennel club registration staff have been directed that anyone wishing to register a dog's name which looks or sounds like an existing affix, can now do so as long as it isn't exactly the same as the Affix (even if it is phonetically the same)!

Oh wow, and wont this lead to some interesting confusions!

Yes by changind Cs and Ks and Ys and Is you could end up with puppy farmers (or others) using well known affixes to seem more than they are. I bet ist is because they wil have teh computer check for them, and computers can't think this way.

Things must be going really smoothly at Head Office. The poor things must be so bored they dreamed up this nonsense to create a bit of chaos so they had something to do sorting out the mess...... :rolleyes:

Is this for real! Hope they reduce the cost of the affix fee for every similar name they permit - because they will be reducing the value of them!!!!
