Hmmm thats not a good situation. Assuming that you have taken the proper steps in caring for your pup in regards to time left alone and where he is in the house...

I presume that you are keeping the cats and the pup apart when you are not there? i think this is very important as cats have sharp claws that can do a lot of damage to the pup! (eyes partucaully) So i would hope that you are not leaving the pup & cats with the run of the house together. Your pup would be safer locked in a suitable room with his water, bed, toys etc away from any harm. Then when they can be supervised you can allow the pup and the cats to socialise with one another. Over time they will either become friends or tolerate one another and when you are happy with their friendship then you could start to leave them alone together.

I have a 13wk old pup and he gets on great with the cats, however i have experienced the damage that cat claws can do and it is just not worth the risk while he is a pup. He has so much energy and his bounding around can confuse and scare the cats which could cause them to swipe at him. when i am out i put the pup in our bedroom, with all his things and i leave the TV on for him and he is fine, and i am happy knowing he is safe.

its not always a bad situation. If managed properly things can work out fine!!!!!!

I've got a puppy, work full time and also have two cats.
I had 3 weeks off when we first got her so her time with the cats was fully supervised.
I tried to teach her that the cats were not for chasing and so by the time I went back to work they were fine to be left alone together

I've found that cats will only attack if cornered and they will always run if thats an option (maybe mine are just wimps)
So as long as they've got somewhere higher to jump to, away from her, then they're fine

However saying that Huskys are renowned (well I say renowned but its only in my experience) for having a high prey drive and chasing, so you need to make a real effort to introduce them.
I would highly recommend some time of work to supervise introductions
