Topic Dog Boards / Health / Preventing bringing germs home from work

I have a westie bitch, Kerrie, and am hoping to get another westie bitch soon.
Problem is I work in a boarding kennel, and may come into contact with germs on dogs and unvaccinated dogs. Kerrie has not caught anything due to my work, but she was fully vaccinated when I started work.
What precations should I take when I get the pup to insure she does not get anything while she is unprotected? At the moment my 'work shoes' go straight in the garage when I get home and I change out of my work clothes (obviously I wash my hands when I finish at work and when I get home). Is there anything else I should do?
Thanks if you can help!
Holly

When I have unprotected pups at home, I walk on a mat soaked in Parvocide, change my clothes on arrival, and spray myself with Parvocide. Remember that airborne viruses can come in on our skin, hair etc.
