Our 2 year old seems to cough a lot. He seems to be in excellent health in that he is very active. He is always anxious to go for a walk. He torments the older female until she plays with him. He torments the 11 year old Dobe until he responds. He demands that the ball be thrown so he can chase it. However, he always coughs after getting a drink of water, which is often. This is about the only time he coughs, but he does drink a lot of water, so he coughs a lot. Any suggestions or comments would be apprecieated.

it sounds if your dog is taking in air as he is drinking which causes him to cough one of the dogs does this at work. try to raise the bowl to chest level we have found that this stops buddy coughing 9 times out of 10
