boscoe will not use the lead at all,as soon as he see's it is attached to the collar he spins and screams like mad.i have tried with bait in front of his nose to get him to walk on it and plenty of praise,but as soon as there is the slightest tension he starts.
any ideas???

Let him get used to it first Mel.
Attach it to a flat collar and just let him drag it about. Make it a light lead and don't leave him unsupervised with it on in case he gets himself into difficulties with it.
He'll get used to a bit of tension on his neck when he steps on it and he'll probably chew it and get tangled up at first but he should soon learn to ignore it.
Distract him and play with him with it on without picking it up at all if you can.

Put the lead on him and wrap it around the neck tucking the free end in so there is nothing trailing just before you feed him and then remove it after he has finished his feed. Do this for a little while and he will start to take the appearance of the lead to nice things.
