How do I stop my 6 month American Bulldog from chewing the walls when left ? He has a sister a 9 month Staff , if I leave filled Kongs and stuff he is possesive and a little bit of a temper will come out . I can,t seperate them as they fret for each other !! Please help I,m getting ate out of house and home !!!!!

I believe this may be a case of separation anxiety even though he has a another dog as company he has probably overbonded with you.

Certainly the advice jeangenie has given is excellent though I prefer a sterilised bone for larger dogs rather than a kong as their jaws are so strong they can squeeze the goodies out of a kong in seconds.

I think you have no option but to either crate or seperate . When they are older you may come home to worse than bad tempered dogs :(
As mentioned crates next to each other is an excellent idea . They can have their own kongs and still be together without the house being destroyed

Thank you for all your advice . I tried the sterelised bones filled and froze them ,then left my babes for a few hours , on my return they were still trying to get the frozen pea nut butter out !!
