Not quite sure why she is doing this so i thought i would ask. She is an 8 week old GSD ans has been drinking her own urine for about 3 days now. Can anyone tell me why she is doing this.

Does not like the taste of the water you are giving her? - do you have water always available?

Salt deficiency?

I would try to ensure she "goes" somewhere it soaks in so she can't drink it and then have a word with your vet first thing Monday morning

yes she drinks well and eats well she only drinks it if she wees on the patio or carpet

I know she isn't ill so it must be that then.
