My 3yr old whippet has a n annoying habit of whining and howling when my son goes out. There is no way of stopping him till he returns (he is very attached to my son) He accepts him going to work and sleeps happily on his bed all day ( I am in the house as well) but once he is home at tea time He whines if he goes out again. our Whippet live with me, my husband and son (but he is my son's dog) and he seems otherwisw happy if not quite dominant. Last week on holiday he was unbeleievable any time any one of us went into a shop for a minute he cried and whined so loudly it was embarrasing. Can anyone tell me how to stop this
