Hi all,It is Day 61 and my girl will not leave her box,only when I take her out potty.She is sleeping very heavily but has not started panting.Over the last few hours her teats have swelled even more with milk and are very red.I am expecting only one pup but I am still very nervous,as this is a first for me and her.She has only dug a little but seems to be mainly sleeping.Do you out there think this is it?Her temp has been up and down,this eve it was 98.0.Thanks so much all and any advice or thoughts is greatly appreciated:)Melanie

hi chiocola............be cautious...i always worry most when its just one pup...did you have her x-rayed???....there is a chance her body won't produce enough oxtocin to induce labor,and hopefully the puppy isnt too big.....you must get a x-ray,before the weekend.if you haven't already.....its better to know what to expect.....they can tell you if it looks too big...........

Hi,sorry I never got back to the board.Lola ended up having a c-section but thankfully all went well.She had a long labor and pushed for quite sometime.The vet saidthe pups head was too big and was not even able to enter the birth canal.She had a baby girl and mom and pup are doing excellent.Lola has taken very well to being a mom and has recovered quickly from her surgery.Thanks for all your support,Melanie
