My staffy is nearly 2, over the pas few months he has developed big spots around his neck area where I pressume his choker chain has rubbed him (the only time he pulls is when is when he sees rabbits or sheep etc). I have now changed it to a half choker and they seem to have gone down a bit, but there are still quite a few there and he has bald patches around this area as well.

He has got very sensitive skin and have had problems before with his skin.

Has anyone experienced this and is there anything I can do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards.

Hi,

Do you leave his collar on al the time? Would help a heap if it only went on for walks or when in the garden unsupervised as gives the area a chance to recover

Hi,

No his collar is taken off as soon as he comes in from his walks. The spots dont seem to be bothering him at all, he doesnt appear to be in any discomfort, I just wondered if anybody had come across this and if there was anything i could use to get rid of the spots and encourage his coat to grow back?

Do a search using spots and there are quite a few threads on all kinds of spots !
