We are in Herts and wanted to take the guys out for a trip to the beach, don't mind driving a fair bit , but does anyone know a dog friendly beach , brighton , southend, bournemouth, etc , don't want to drive all the way there and find out the guys are not allowed on.
Or Even a nice lake to picnic round where they can swim to there hearts content.

Hi,
I don't know if beaches around the country have the same policy but in Norfolk it is only the sections along the front(nearest the town) which are non doggy. They allow dogs on all the outskirts and you can walk and swim for miles. We took our pup last weekend(we live in Herts too)and he loved it!! so much freedom, lots of dogs to play with and no cars to worry about.Hopefully someone will be along to advise on beaches a bit nearer,
Hazel
