So... What did everyone think of the showground?
I thought it was lovely, lots of space, easy to get to (only 40 mins from home!), and there seemed to be a really nice friendly atmosphere- the weather may have helped, until it rained today! But everyone seemed really cheerful throughout the whole show.
I do miss the noise and waving to the passengers in the planes going 3 feet above our heads every 30 seconds though (not)!
I did hear a rumour that the show will be held at Newbury for the next 5 years....YIPPEE!

Hi Liz - sorry we didn't see you - we were inside the tent rather than in the hot sun during the 'boys'. Savvy was in quite a state so we got her a nice cold towelling robe to lie in (soaking wet of course LOL).

How did you do? Savvy got 3rd in Novice Bitch so we were very proud.

I was very impressed with the venue, the layout and the organisation. Only complaint (if I had one) was to put the whippet benching all the way on the other end of the grounds when there were so many empty benches right near the ring (of course the whippet folk then did the smart thing and moved closer LOL).

Will definitely look forward to going again next year:)

Hi Wendy,
I only got over to the Whippet ring long enough to show Alfie, and then rushed back to the trade stand (I was working) then rushed over to show Alice, my IG.
Alfie didn't get anywhere, he hates showing in the heat and moved like a donkey! Alice won her class, and was beaten for best bitch (NSC) by her auntie!
Well done with Saffy's 3rd place, she's having a good run of wins lately isn't she?
Hopefully may have more time to wander around next time, where are you showing next?

Savvy's doing well - I'm really proud of her - she's finally coming into her own, so we can but hope.......

We're at Southamption, Blackpool and Paignton this month, then I think we're doing the Hound Show, and then B'mouth. I can't remember. I decided to just go for it this year and get her out there. Hopefully it will pay off, if not this year then next.
