as it is so hot outside my pregnant bitch appears to be very uncomfortable. i was just wondering how i can make her feel any better? are there any remedies as such? she just keeps looking at me with this sad face! would really like to help her if i can. thanks!

There has been some discusion about this recently Lizzy, you could try a search on heat. I am lucky in having a ceiling fan in the kitchen which keeps it pretty cool, someone suggested freezing a bottle of water I think and popping it in her bed.

A cool damp towel works well for my dogs in this weather, they love it - mind you they also jump in the kids paddling pool given half a chance and lie there - absolutely mad!!
