I am going on holiday for a week and am leaving my dog in Kennels. I got her at 6 months and have her vaccination card. Does anyone know which vaccinations she should have had as a puppy and also are there any other things I should vaccinate her for before I go away, bearing in mind she is going into kennels. For example is there a vaccination for leukaemia for dogs, I know there is for cats - not sure about dogs though.

I would think the normal puppy jabs would be enough to satisfy the majority of boarding establishments but you could always ring the kennels to ask which diseases they require protection against.

In my opinion over vaccinating is not a wise thing to do so I wouldn't be looking for extra things to vaccinate against !
