I don't know anything specific about these breeds, so I can only talk generally. The best way to introduce a new pup to an established older dog is not to force the issue, and don't give the older dog any reason to be jealous of the new puppy. It's a very unusual dog that will actually harm a pup, but they will certainly 'put it in its place'. Usually there will be a lot of sniffing and licking, then they will start playing.
Feed the two dogs at the same time - the older dog will be thrilled at having more meals (only give the older one a tiny amount out of his usual daily ration at the 'extra' mealtimes so that he doesn't get fat!) Have them out in the garden together, and make sure the older one can get awayfrom this new 'monster' if he wants to. Give the older one the same amount of individual attention that he used to get, and with luck there'll be no problems with jealousy.
Some older dogs are afraid of puppies, and some will react to the intrusion by pretending the pup isn't there, and may completely ignore it for several weeks.
I feel they won't become friends until they have more time together, supervised by you of course!
Good luck.
