I have a 13 week Corgi bitch puppy and she has a constantly running eye. When she had her vaccinations the vet stated it was probably a blocked tear duct. Any advice as to a remedy please.

What does your vet suggest?

Hi,
I never experienced a blocked tear duct with a dog but one of my rabbits use to suffer with it all the time. You can bathe the eye, get cream from the vet or have the vet flush the blocked duct out. The creams or drops work, but having the duct flushed out lasts the longest - thats if it becomes a reoccuring problem.
Hope this helps xanthe

Corgi has my sympathy, I have a blocked tear duct due to hayfever and it's a darn pest. I have to bathe my eye and it's actually discharging under my eye. Think i'll have to give in and go to doc
