Hi Guest,

I personnally would feed them Nutro choice or James well beloved. Both have really good ingredients.

I find Dr Johns to be a very good food, and have Danes and an Akita X on it

Are you looking to feed a complete or a raw diet?

I have three bullmastiffs and they are all fed on Dr Johns Silver, i have been using this food for 4yrs now and have had no problems. They also get raw chicken wings, pasta, sardines and veggies as extras for a bit of variety, this is just my choice, (Dr johns is a complete food). Friends of mine that have Rotties have also started feeding this food.
It is a working dogs food and is Vat free (5.99 for 15kg).
Hope this helps. Karen.

I have not seen Dr Johns at our petstore.
Do you have any contact details of where I can get some?
Thanks
p.s I am thinking of it for my Dogues de Bordeaux but do you think it would be OK for staffies too? - would be easire with just one type of food but not a problem if not :-)

I don't have the details with me (at work at the moment) if you want to e.mail me i can give you my phone number and you can ring me at home, then i will be able to pass on details.
Karen.

Sorry, have managed to get the phone no: If you ring Gilbertson & Page
Tel 01707 367900 or email to info@gilpa.co.uk, they can give you a list of suppliers in your area. Hope this helps.

Hi - put "Iams Cruelty" into Google and you will find plenty of information. Be prepared though, its not pleasant. I, for one, wouldn't touch Iams and am trying to weed out all other P&G products from my shopping list :(

There was a big protest outside the Plaza doorway at Crufts they were handing out leaflets,I read the literature and I am afraid that I changed back to a BARF diet. Would not want mine to look good at the expenes of other animals
