I think what they are asking is what age is the best age to have the dog neutered :D
At least that's what I thought when I read it

It would depend on the reason for doing it.

Why do you think he needs to be 'fixed'? Are you having problems with him or have you just heard that it's the best thing to do?

If you read many of the posts already on, you'll see that people have varying views on when the best time is for getting a dog castrated - some reckon 6 months, others say it's best to wait until the dog has matured and is over a year old. A few people have also mentioned that with the loss of testosterone hormones, some dogs can become lacking in confidence, so depending on the dog's character you could end up with a dog with nervous aggression. Personally, I have decided to leave my dog entire.
