Hi, Im new to the group. One of my pups came back to me at 9 months for no reason other than the wife got pregnant. Ben is adorable, but the only problem is he and Louis the pup I kept, keep on peeing everywhere and have quite violent fights, Ive let it go on to see if they could sort what order they come in the pack, also I have 3 other dogs all Shih Tzus and Ben seems to know where he stands with them. Any ideas as this has been going on for 6 weeks and I dont want to sell him on.

Do you remember what position both the boys were in the litter, ie. top, middle or bottom? Maybe they are too equally matched and will have problems trying to sort their positions out.

What sort of life did the returned puppy have, was he spoiled, did he get his own way? Don't forget that at 9 months, their hormones are raging and they are both teenagers and teenagers can get very moody.

If they haven't sorted it by now, I wouldn't think it will be easy to do and as you have other dogs, the obvious thing would be to re-home him again, but thats entirely up to you. Sibling rivalry can be a real pain and even more of a pain in bitches, when bitches fight they REALLY mean it, boys often fight and get over it, but bitches hold grudges. :D
