Hi everyone.

Can someone please tell me that their dog sounds like a freight train at 100mph while they're sleeping as well!!!!!!

Once Darcy was house trained we gave in and let her sleep in the bedroom, she sleeps on the floor not the bed (although she does come for a morning cuddle) but the noise is deafening

Its not to bad for me because I sleep the sleep of the dead but my partner is getting slightly shall we say "ticked" off with constantly being woken up in the night

I'm worried that it means she's overweight, or are some dogs just snorers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there anything we can do or are we stuck with it for ever

My partner keeps getting up and sleeping in the spare room and we're not even married yet!!!! :D

We used the stair gate when she was little but dont really want to go back to it becasue one of our cats cant get through it and so just sits there and screams until we open it so we get woken up anyway!!!!!!

HELP

Don't think that it can be because of being overweight as our Aussie snores and she is skinny :) She doesn't sound like a freight train tho' :D

I've heard 20 stone 50 year old men snore quiter than Darcy

It really is horrendous. Even when she's downstairs she can still wake him up its so loud

hi Rachael,
Our last Boxer was banned from our bedroom as he snored so loud.I remember shortly after having my son being awake at 3 am listening to dog, husband and baby snoring away not letting me get to sleep!George was so loud we had to put him out of the front room if there was anything interesting on the tv or we wouldn't be able to hear it!!
Our new puppy is only 10 weeks old and he's getting louder by the day!!

All our lot snore ! They sound more like jumbo jets flying over when they are all at it !You can hear it from our bedroom when they are in the conservatory ! I wouldn't dare let my lot sleep with us as the combination of us and them snoring would mean continuing replacement of plaster falling off the walls ! :D

We can hear Star snore from the other end of the house. It is worse when she lies on her back.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your dog, Thistle snores and she's skinny as a rake.
I do question your sanity though, having your dog in bed instead of your bloke (actually on second thoughts-not such a bad idea :-) )

Gus does baby snores now and again . Think he's been listening to his dad - hope he doesnt follow suit though or the neighbours will be complaining :)

Something woke me up the other night. I thought I heard voices downstairs and my heart started racing. As I strained to hear what *they* were saying I became puzzled as it sounded like a one way conversation.

I could hear, *mummmm-ble... silence - mummmm-ble... silence*

Was hubby on the phone downstairs? *moves foot across bed to check* nope, he was next to me... so who was it???

And if there *was* someone downstairs why hadn't the dogs barked?

The dogs! had someone stabbed/poisoned/strangled them? ( Doesn't the mind ever go into overdrive eh? )

I hardly dared to breathe.. then I realised what it was!

The bloody dog was snoring!!! :D :D :D :p
