My westie 'Bob' got fleas two months ago and although they are now gone he is still scratching and nibbling along the his back. I have bathed him in baby oil and rubbed oil into the skin. I have been to the vet and was told it is a dry skin compaint that westies suffer from but what do i do Please reply asap to gilgem@btopenworld.com

Thank you

Sometimes a change of diet can help westie skin problems.Do you feed a complete dry food by any chance?
We were advised by the breeder of our westie never to feed a dry complete food to try and prevent skin problems. We are currently feeding tinned food and mixer but I know of some westie owners who are feeding BARF diets.
