I have allergies to dogs generally - I have heard that Schnausers do not affect people with ashthma. Has anybody else got proof of this?

Hi Guest, I do not have experience of schnauzers but I do have asthma and bad dog/cat allergies. I own an Irish Terrier and have had virtually no problems with allegies/asthma, as her hair does not shed. There are some dogs out there that appear more suited to people with asthma or allergies, including schnauzers and some other terriers breed. However, before you consider buying a dog, it would be a good idea to spend some time with the breed to see if you have a reaction.
