I'm looking for a Rough Collie, dog pup. He is to be a much loved pet and companion to my Mother; who has been alone for a while now. I am hoping to find a sable & white, Rough Collie, similar to the one of her youth. Reading up on the subject in the last few days, I understand that some sable & white Rough Collies are also described as 'shaded' of varying degrees. I would prefer to find as near to the 'light gold' that is talked about, if possible.
Thank you for your time in reading this. If you are able to help me in any way at all; including any advice, I'd be very gratefull.
Do you know about the requirement to ask for details of eye testing for parents and pups?

Hi Marina,
Thanks for your reply. I live in Kings Lynn; north Norfolk, and would be very grateful to get any help you can offer me. I'm a complete novice in all areas of the Rough Collie world.
Have emailed some numbers direct - any general questions, feel free to post them and I'm sure Val, Gail and I will offer all help we can.

Admin, if you're watching - thanks for updating links, 95% of the time they work, but think sometimes when L Parkins is lurking they don't work for me - tried several times, but they just wouldn't do it :(
Agree with you Gail, but think it might be an unrealistic expectation in RCs for a few years yet - now, if you know of a nice tri male hiding away somewhere, eye clear at 6 weeks, hip score of 10 or less and a suitable pedigree for mine, feel free to let me know .............. :D :D :D

Dear Marina, Val & Gail,
MANY thanks for your help towards me. Your support has been wonderful. I'm currently awaiting the result of a recent mating. If all goes well, I shall be collecting a pup from that litter. I'm taking the slow road *smiles* VERY exciting though.
