just need some advice
i took my staffordshire bull terrier bitch to a dog its his first time . he got on top got it in but he pulled out then come his lot then they tried again same again my bitch was screaming then he pulled out . anyway i took her home later in the evening my friend came up with his dog but she showed no interest in him just kept really growling at him . could this mean she might have fallen preg with the other dog

Way to early to tell. The earliest would be 3 weeks is she was scanned by a reliable person or 4-5 weeks by you vet is more the normal time to tell. If you plan to mate your bitch at a later date I would suggest that you have someone there with more experience for mating dogs.

Hi,

I agree with Margaret, definately too early yet.

Your bitch could have a tough hymen which stopped the mating taking place which was why the dogs didn't tie, she could also have been put off by the dogs behaviour and scared.

Definately if and when you mate her again, make sure there is an experienced breeder there to help, injuries do sometimes happen when dogs are not properly supervised and handled.
