Hi, we already have a 6.5 year old golden retriever, (male) and we would like to get a great dane puppy.
Does anyone have any advice for us, we don't want our golden to feel relegated!
Do you think he's maybe too old now to bring a puppy in now?
He's a brilliant natured dog and I think it would work well but I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me.

I have my four Danes with an Akita X Gsd and have no problems. I don't think he is too old to bring in a puppy of any breed, it's more dependant on his temperament than his age. Dane puppies are not as boisterous as some other breeds but they are big, and clumsy and you would have to watch your boy with the pup, as you would whatever breed you went for. It might be easier if you register then you can ask more questions.
