Hi, I have two beautiful pedigree staffs. mum and daughter. the daughter is six months old. I am thinking of getting a Rottweiler or a boxer to addd to our loving home. which is the better gender of either dogs to have? and how should i introduce the new pup to the exsisting family?

How do your dogs react to others when out on a walk ?
They may be fine with each other due to being mother and daughter but may not tolerate another . Your pup has yet to come into season too which can cause quite a bit of friction between two bitches .
I would personally advise to wait quite a bit until your pup is older .You will then get to assess her nature better as she is still a baby yet . I have a Staffy pup aged 6 months old as well ,who is brilliant with ALL dogs he meets but I wouldnt get another until he is older.
I would say wait and see - especialy with the breeds you are considering

Hi,

I agree with the other poster, ideally you should wait until your youngest is at least 1 year old or preferrably 18 months old, so that she is under good control and mentally mature enough to handle a new member of the family.

If everything is ok when she is older (with her mum), I would usually suggest a boy, but sometimes Boxer boys can be a bit of a handful (Boxers are anyway, they take a long time to mature mentally and stay mad forever!! :) )

Rottie boys can sometimes be a bit difficult to, but if you are prepared to work on them, this will probably be the best idea.

:)
