I have been reading some messages about dogs and their love of balls, especially tennis balls. Someone once told me never let a dog destruct a tennis ball because the glue that is used is very bad for dogs. I would welcome comments.

I would imagine that most glues could be harmful is swallowed in sufficient quantities. I think the glue used on tennis balls is latex based. My main concern about tennis balls would be if the dog was to swallow any pieces that it chewed off and they became stuck, and some breeds are big enough to swallow the whole tennis ball !!! For those reasons I do not allow my dogs to play with tennis balls.
