Hi, Animal Care College in Berks run a Breeders Diploma Course, by Mail, along with several others (eg Judges Diploma)

I think the ACC used to have a Dog Breeding Certicate course (I took (and passed) this many moons ago.

Breeders Diploma is something that used to appear in the BRS along with Stud Book Numbers, CC, JW's, Corrections etc. I assume that is what the guest is asking - 'tis what I meant anyway.

I wondered if it was something given to the breeder of a champion if they were not the owner?

That is exactly what it is Christine.

You get a certificate from the KC when a dog that you bred is made up to a Champion.

Never gave it a thought till you mentioned it and then I took a look and thats what it is called.
