Following on from my last post (" where are you??" ) -
if you had the chance and opportunity , where would you rather be ?
I would be somwhere hot , where the pace of life was slow and dreamy - maybe somewhere like Jamaica , Maurituis, God anywhere but England !! :D
I do love England ( as its my birth country) but I really dont want to be here :(
Where would you like to be ??

Hi
I'd like to be in the Maldives,on a secluded beach with just my cabin on it, the dogs could just be free to play, with the sun shining down all day and beautiful sun sets at night, bliss.
Tracey
Oh yes. The Maldives please!! :) Went their many years ago....paradise.
I could cope with Barbados or just for a change ...Alaska, crisp cool days, not too many people to distract my f/coat, and eagel eyes to spot wolves and bears etc; which could also see whales!!

This morning - and on mornings like this, I would happily settle for "home" - in the middle of a golf course in Essex. Before we start, let me say I DO NOT play golf - stupid game!!! But it is an absolutely beautiful morning - the bluebells at the edge of the wood, the oak and ash trees just coming into leaf and the may blossom on the hawthorn, and light dew on the grass over the golf course. It is heaven on a morning like this, at this time, before the golfers come out to play - but heigh ho, doggies need food, the mortgage must be paid - so, once again - all together now:-
"I owe, I owe, so off to work I go..."
Margot - who must now get out of the jeans & into a suit!!

Spain - where almost every morning the sun shines, where strangers say good morning with a smile, cheap booze and fags, who could ask for more. :-)

I love going up the footpath behind my house on a bright morning. At the top there is a lovely view down towards the River Stort and 'Beckingham Palace' :) Sunday mornings are the best as it is so quiet. I'm not a fan of hot places and just love this time of year in England where everything is so green and lush :)

Somerset is looking particlarly lush and green at the moment, however a small ranch in the states would be nice.
Somewhere where winter is winter and summer is summer.
And where a person still has some rights (but I'm not starting an argument here)
Oh and men don't EXPECT you to be dressed up to the 9's to pay you any attention

A cottage below the fells and next to a lake in the Lake District would suit me fine, along with a few extra dogs to share it with - other half and dogs can stay in Surrey, this is my fantasy - and a couple of weeks every year somewhere reliably sunny
That'll do me!!!
Hayley
EDIT Meant to say other dogs and kids stay in Surrey, of course the dogs can come!!! :D

Now I know this is sad..........but I'm just happy to be where I am.
I'm sitting with the sun shining through the window, and a field of lambs in front of me. The dogs are sleeping in front of the fire...............and Mrs B's gone shopping (I gave her a ten shilling note, all for herself). ;)
Sheer bliss

She's gone from 'I haven't got time to mess around with THAT thing' to 'Should we look at BROADBAND access', in 2 hours.
Today the Internet, tomorrow the World. She's gone power mad.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped her find all my posts.
Thank-you, that really helped.......not!

:D :D :D @ Mrs B - welcome to Champdogs :)
I have lots of answers for TOB along the lines of him being an ole whatever ;)
To be honest there's no where I'd rather be right now than here. I have just been crying with laughter at this thread :D
SaraW :)
P.S. Actually thinking about it a deserted beach somewhere warm with a lap top with internet access would be pretty good ;)

I'd settle for my bed actually, a bottle of wine, a book and a big bar of chocolate. And the knowledge that I don't have to go into work tomorrow morning. I'm chasing rainbows though ... :(
Failing that, a quiet Greek island would be tolerable.

A small island, all to myself. Have to be off the coast of Scotland I guess, small islands aren't too plentiful down here. But that'd be fine, lol. I could do that 'Castaway' thing, if I didn't have to go with all the other people!
