i have 2 male goldenretreivers 4 yrs old and one is always mounting the other. The male who is always getting mounted is now breaking out in eczema. I love both dogs but the high pitched barking and yelping is driving the family crazy, any advice from anybody would be appreciated.

Have either or both been neutered? When does this happen, is it during play or just anytime.

It could be a dominance thing, it could be because there are bitches in season around, it depends on the circumstances.

How long have they done this for?

Have you tried 'intercepting' and telling the male that is doing the mounting, that it is unacceptable behaviour?
