I'm flying down South in a few weeks. I've never been to Stansted airport. Is there an easy location to meet people? Or is it quite a small place where you'd easily find the people meeting you?

I've only flown once from and to Stanstead. I found it a nice airport, and it should be a fairly easy place to arrange to meet people. The downside is travelling from the airport towards London as the M11 and M25 are frequently congested. As long as you allow plenty of time to get to and from the airport you should be fine. Have a nice trip.

Stansted is very near us. It is quite easy to meet people. The arrivals bit is not very big - there are chairs there for people to wait and a small coffee bar. Shouldn't be a problem :)

I agree with the others. I flew from Stansted 2 years ago, and again will be this August.
I found it very easy. Not too big, very easy meeting places.

Thanks alot folks! :) Relief!!! Luckily I'm not going to London, I'm travelling on to Hampshire. I usually drive down with the family, but this time I'm abandoning Dog,cats,child and hubby. I'm going to spend a few days with some army wives. We're planning a really fun filled weekend before the squaddies return from the Gulf in June. Don't worry, I won't dream of doing anything you lot wouldn't do....:d :D

I'd swap you anyday Jacquie :) I'm staying in Farnborough, if we go off for a Sunday drive I'll definitely pop in for a mal fix,as Stacey's driving is almost as bad as mine it's more likely we'll end up stranded in a lay-by somewhere. If I go missing, search the M3 & M4 :d :D
