On a previous post I absentmindedly forgot to mention the Miniature Schnauzer as one of our choices for a dog breed we were considering. They seem like a delightful breed. I hate to ask this of lovers of the Miniature schnauzer, but are there any negatives to the breed? I know here in the states you have to find a reliable breeder since their popularity has resulted in many poor quality dogs. Mini Schauzers are lovely little dogs and clever to. They can be cheeky, but then many breeds can, but they are always up for a game and will walk for miles.

Obviously they need grooming/clipping/stripping, whatever you like, but that can always be done at a groomers.

If you have kids, they will be great fun.

I am not sure about health problems, except that parents should be eye tested.
