Hi Ann,
When I had my litters and put people on a waiting list I would tell them when the puppies were due. I always appreciated it if they phoned again a few days after that time to find out if they had arrived, how many etc, and to let me know if they were still interested. I found that the ones I called back had changed their minds (and not told me - grrr), so now I leave it to the buyer to keep in touch.
:)

I do ring the people a few days after the pups arrive to check if they still are wanting one. I also ring people when pregnancy is confirmed if they booked before the or just after mating.

I am always pleased if people ring at any time to see how things are going.

Ann
as mentioned, ring a few days after or before the due date just to check . Sometimes if the breeder has a long waiting list and you are near the bottom they dont always let you know
