Can anyone tell me what it means when my 4.5 month old puppy tries to dig a whole in my carpet?

Not to be funny, but it means you have a normal 4.5 month old puppy :)

Yes try letting the pup outside into your garden and then the pup can dog big holes in your lawn or your borders !!! :D :D It will save your carpet !!!!!!! :D :D (sorry couldn't resist!!)

Just a normal thing puppies do !

My 6month mini schnauzer likes to dig for 'treasure' in the
corners of my leather suites!! (gulp), however he is that
adorable pushing his little nose right in, with his white bottom
in the air - I can't help but howl laughing :-)

Just them playing make believe!

MB our six month old Lab likes to dig and re arrange anywhere she is about to snooze on to get the most comfortable bed. She also however likes to dig in her water bowl, her new paddling pool and the garden which is now off limits as we have now got their dog area back from the builders !!

Mmmmm my eldest two still had their moments even when older girls especially when out on a walk and there was a nice smelling rabbit hole to dig.Min doesn't really do it now but she is 12 1/2 ! :D

Hope that helps !!

Thought there might be some hidden meaning, but it's just a puppy/dog thing. Thanx.
