I AM LOOKING AT BUYING A SHEPHERD PUPPY, HE IS SUPPOSE TO BE HUNGARIAN. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY HAVE WHITE SPOTS ON THEIR CHEST. THE OWNER TOLD ME THIS IS COMMON IN THE HUNGARIAN LINES. IS THIS POSSIBLE. I AM PAYING QUIT ABIT OF MONEY FOR THIS PUPPY. I DO SCHUTZHUND AND AKC OBEDIENCE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. THANK YOU KAREN FEARRAND AT ( KARENOFLWDA@AOL.COM)

Hi Karen if you could Register with us , maybe we could help you a bit more. As you seem to be in the US I searched the AKC page ..they don't have a Hungarian Shepherd as a recognised breed ..but they do have a Kuvasz which I believe is also called the Hungarian Shepherd...however this is an all white dog.

I am assuming the breeder is selling you a German Shepherd Dog FROM Hungarian lines and this is supposed to be the reason it will have white spots on its chest? Maybe one of our resident GSD people will be able to help more ?
