I have a 6 month old brown and white tibetan terrier who looks like a fluffy toy. I would not normally think about putting my dogs with a model agency, but he is so cute and i am always being stopped with him. I cannot show him in the ring because being brown and white with pink nose, he is not kennel club colours. is there anybody who knows of a good model agency who i can register with. I have looked at models direct and have just seen a watchdog report which has put me off using them. i have been on the net and unable to find any other sites. does anybody have one that they could recomment?

Yes, I imagine you'd get directed to some scarey websites if you did a search under dog & model :) If you live near a city, just look under model agencies/entertainment agencies. If you phone around, there's bound to be one that may be interested. Also usually there are only a couple of photographic labs that the proffessional photographers will use to develope their negs, you could ask if you could leave contact details/ information near inside the processing labs shop. Make up a portfolio of your dog and send off a contact sheet to every photographer/agency you can find.

Try Dogs today magazine for a start - they are always asking for readers dogs to model various things, they have a protfolio of willing models to call on. If chosesn, you caould then find out if he enjooys it.

I think that there's A - Z Animals based in London. They phoned me once for one of my Spanish to do a modelling job in London and I was paid £100, which by the time I got the return train it was gone!!! I wasn't registered with them, they were doing themes around different countries in the world for a fashion shoot. They were really nice when I got there and the model was lovely with my girl.
