Has anyone heard of excessive saliva and coughing being caused by an allergy? My dog has been on shots and pills for over two years for other allergies. Any info. re this would be appreciated.

Hello,

Personally I haven't, but one of our beardie bitches has allergies to housedust mite, fish, wool and nylon. Since she has been on the BARF diet and had echinacea added to her meals, she is so much better. :D

We did have a bitch a few years ago (now sadly died - age 16.5 years) who was allergic to the bacteria which makes plaque on the teeth. She salivated all the time and we gave her Q10 pills which helped, but it never went completely.

Hope this helps a bit :)
