She is just very happy and excited when she gets visitors.
If you are expecting people to call in,perhaps put her outside before you let them in,and let them say hello to her while outside.Get the excited wees over and then perhaps let her in.
Good luck : )

Hi
I would tell EVERYONE who calls to completely ignore her until she has settled down. When she is calm and sitting quietly then give her a stroke but in a calm manner so as not to excite her again. She will soon learn that she needs to be calm not running around like a nutter and you should find that the peeing should stop with the over-exited behaviour.

Hello I have a English Bull Terrier of the same age and she does the same.I tell people who are visiting to ignore her and some times this works but not always. She is mental too.She is the first bull breed I have had and only wish I had one earlier they are so loving too much sometimes but at least you know someone will love you when you come home!!

Nearly every Staffy I know is very excitable around people - especially so when pups . They just love fuss and attention
Gus who is 6 months thinks he is a kangaroo , bouncing around people . :)
As mentioned you need to get people to ignore pup til he/she has calmed down - which is harder said than done as people are sometimes more tolerant of a pup and say "o its ok" . Thats one of the problems I have . Its getting people to realise its NOTok !!!
I know lots of Staffy pups who piddle when over excited so its not an unusual thing , but obviousy as you say it can cause problems .
Pup will calm down in time although with a Staffy it may take a bit longer
Enjoy your pup and I agree arent they just fantastic dogs :D

If its working sometimes then thats a good thing.Carry on doing the same thing and be consistant and it will stop the behaviour eventually. As someone else said it is a staffy thing to get over-excited but they can be trained to not be 'over the top'.

Hi, My oldest Stafford is 7 & he still goes loopy when we have a visitor, My 3 do calm down after a while. it's in a Staffords nature to be lunatics they just love people. never had a weeing problem though.
we put the dogs outside if we have people round but most of our friends know what our dogs are like & come round not to see us but to get pounced on be 3 slobbering staffords!

When I aquiered my first staffy about 8 years ago he was advertised in the local free advertiser.Don't know why I even gave him any consideration since the ad said not siutable with children(and I've got 4).However I went round to see him and he was locked in a small kitchen. We were told he wasn't allowed out of the kitchen because he was mad(and so was I by now!!)I opened the gate to the kitchen and this huge red adult staff(1 1/2 years) bounded out and launched itself at me tail wagging. He tore my coat sleeve and split my lip by jumping up into my face.He knew no commands at all and was only walked by the husband who worked away all week since the wife couldn't control him .It was obvious he was just starved of affection and I paid the money and took him home against all common sense.
We had to stop any of the kids coming down the stairs on their own since he would jump up at anyone who came down stairs(after all they'd been away for ages hadn't they!!)and made sure not to reward his over biosterous nature and within a few weeks he was the perfect gent.
I suppose I'm trying to say that it is possible and if I teach a adult male staff who I had not raised I'm sure you can teach your youngster.
Regards Archer.

Thanks for all your suggestions i am trying my hardest i have told friends and family to ignore her till she settles and it works "sometimes"

I find if you open a news paper and pretend to read it out loud while standing up,make sure the paper covers your face!! and every time your dog jumps up or tries to get your attention turn you back on him and ignor him(you wil feel very mean at first but this helped me with mine)other than that put him/her straight outside when you first come in and then let him back in when everyone is settled,or give him a chewy or a toy that he loves and only let him have it when he is very excitable,if this dosent work good luck!!!!!
