We are looking for another dog and about a week ago when we were walking with our terrier cross and English Setter we met a person walking two large dogs. That in its self in not strange but for one small fact. The dogs appeared to be covered with mats. Naturally we walked up and asked what breed is that and got the answer " They are Bergamascos". Since then we have been searching madly for information on the breed and have decided we would like to accquire one. The only reservation we have is after you bath them how do you get them dry? None of the websites we have looked at mention how to dry the maps completely through? All help needed.

Or, i should think that each part of the dog is done on different day to avoid to much of a hard job, eg tail one day, hind leg the next day etc!
Could be wrong though.
By the way have met a few Komondors and the really smell especially in summer! They take a hell of a lot of work to get the coat like that though so think about it properly before you get one.
Just thought i'd better add they take AGES to bath even the small Pulis do because their coat needs to be rinsed so well! :-)
