Hi. I have become interested in the other colors of Schipperkes, especially Buff or
Fawn. I am from the U.S. and it is hard to get info or pictures of the non-black
variety.

Hi Patti there are several pictures on the net of cream schipperkes on different sites, you can take a look at some on Kirsten Henry's site in the pedigree database area, she has pictures of black and tan and various shades of cream/fawn. There is also a few pictures on the Magisters Dutch site, they also list pedigrees mostly of European schips, you can also see pictures of Chocolates on Clarke Gundersens site from the USA. I believe VetGen still have their open letter from Don about colour breeding and genetic coat testing that he has done with pictures of his Midwatch Sundance who is soon to appear in the showring here in the UK.
With the advent of a reliable gentic test it will be easier to breed correctly coloured schipperkes ie those with black pigmentation rather than the pale nose and white toes variety.
