Since the Gundog Society of Wales has changed from Builth Wells to Tredegar Park, Newport Gwent has any of you attended a Show here and have you any recommendations regarding a Guest House.

The last post got me worried for you both,

Tredegar Park (Tredegar House) and Tredegar (the town) are about 22 miles away from each other, Tredegar Park is in Newport near junction 28 on the M4. Tredegar Town is 22 miles north between Merthyr Tydfil and Ebbw Vale on the Heads of the Valley Road (A465). :D I live in the area.

I had called a g/h last night and they are just by the Tredegar roundabout and she said the Park was not even 5 mins away., so think i may have hit the right area !! My sense of direction is not very good so I always ask :D

It would have been awful to travel that far and then find out you had to travel further to the show!!!
