I have just used the Advance Weaning Porridge for the first time and I have to say I was very impressed. My puppies took to it without any problem and it came out the other end very firm. I went through 3 buckets of the stuff. I found it very good for my litter (9 of them). I would put a little on the end of my finger and the puppy would suck it off and gradually I would lower my finger into the porridge and they got the hang of eating it by themselves very quickly. Good luck with your puppies, mine are now 6 weeks old and are here there and every where !!

I make a prridge from Litterlac puppy milk and soaked puppy food. As the litter I had wer on this lready when I was asked to try the Weaning porridge, mine wouldn't eat it, as it was blander than what they were getting.
I prefer my own way of doing it, as I find it more adaptable, as I can very the proportions of milk to puppy food, and also Mum gets the milk to drink, and once pups have teeth they get the milk as a drink, and soaked puppy food to eat, as well as a meat meal.

Hi
We have used Advance Puppy Weaning for our last four litters and really recommend it. Cavalier puppies can be difficult to part from bitch milk but this stuff is so good. Curent litter just six weeks old and they are gaining weight and condition and are proper little fatties. They have scrambled eggs made with semi skimmed goats milk for breakfast. For lunch they are now on Pedigree Chum Puppy meat and have the weaning food for tea. I have found with this litter that they don't want weaning food at supper time but will have two sugar free Farley's rusks mashed up with aired goats milk. In between they have milk visits from mum but she is now losing patience due to teeth and I think her milk is depleating now. I would just say though that our babies stay with mum to play and enjoy each other until they are ten weeks old, don't think Cavaliers are ready to leave until this age and we have never had any complaints.

Hello I have used the advance weaning porridge for my last litter which was reccomended to me. I thought it was very good, but I found it hard to get hold of through my vet. I now have a new litter and my vet has let me down again. Can anyone help with a supplier. I live in Nottinghamshire.
Thanks

Hi
If you can get to Stafford tomorrow you can collect some from there
or i do know of a pedigree breeder point in Burton that you could collect some from anytime.

Hi if you contact Pedigree Petfoods and register as a breeder, they will tell you where your nearest pick up point is, I had to do this yesterday, and picked up my weaning food today.
